Thanks to the generosity of community donors and as well as government funding, Yaletown House purchased a Golvo lift. The Golvo serves two important functions: First, it assists with resident transfers from wheelchairs and other types of seating. These transfers provide safety, ease and comfort for both residents and staff. And secondly, it is a walking device that fully supports the resident while promoting exercise, independence and strength training.
