Patrick Grant
Patrick became part of our family in 2005 when his wife, Doris, came to live with us on second floor. Doris lived with us for just over a year. Patrick visited her almost every day. Sadly, Doris left us in 2006, but we are happy that Patrick has remained a part of our community through volunteering. In loving memory of Doris, Patrick has donated $25,000 towards renovating and furnishing a resident lounge on the second floor.
Alex Grant
Alex’s mother, Ena Grant, came to live with us on the third floor of Yaletown House in September 1999, where she resided for nearly five years. We sadly said goodbye to Ena in 2004, shortly after her 100th birthday. Alex expressed a desire to do something special in her memory and, once we shared with him our campaign, he immediately pledged $25,000 for the third floor resident lounge.
