Thanks to our Many Yaletown BIA Elves

Yaletown House Foundation was grateful to be selected as one of the beneficiaries for the 2007 Yaletown Business Improvement Association (BIA) Wrap Centre, which was held December 13 to 15 and December 20 to December 22. During these six glittery days, Yaletown shoppers dropped by the BIA office and by donation our team of Volunteer Elves wrapped up each holiday gift into glorious Christmas bundles. Our thanks to Annette O’Shea, Executive Director of Yaletown BIA, Gary Foreman, Project Coordinator for the BIA and Trevor Howes for organizing the event, allowing the BIA office to act as the North Pole Wrapping site and for volunteering their time to help wrap.

We would also like to give special appreciation to the Volunteer Elves who helped wrap a sleigh load of presents:

  • Lions/HSBC Kim, Wendy, Rowena, Carolyn
  • James Schouw’s office Paul, Tamara, Constance (and helper)
  • Volunteer Vancouver Ya, Janice
  • Yaletown House Carol, Eileen, Elizabeth, Kathrin, Margaret, Yoying, Sharon, Lynn
  • Pictured are some of our Team Elves in action!

Special kudos to Karen Peterson Ivanick and the Canada Line Transit Project, who donated the wrapping materials.
