Although the Yaletown Lion’s first fundraising event was called the Black and White Gala, the money raised for Yaletown House was definitely pure Gold. Thanks to the generosity of the Lion’s, Concord Pacific, event sponsors and guests, $36,000 was raised for the benefit of Yaletown House seniors.
On June 14, with the help of many volunteers, Library Square Promenade was transformed into an elegant affair that include a catered dinner by the Opus Hotel, silent and live auctions, special performances, chamber music and awards.
