Come in for a DEAL, Leave with a BARGAIN was the theme for Yaletown House’s first White Elephant Sale held on Saturday, July 25. In addition to the great items available to purchase, our visitors had the pleasure of listening to in-house buskers or getting decorative art painted on their arm or face by Susan. In total, we raised over $1700 from the items sold and misc. donations which will help fund the Exercise/Games Area for Main Lounge renovations.
This was a great community event with 60 individuals donating their time; either before or during or after. Following the White Elephant Sale, we held a delicious Recognition Dinner to thank our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who participated.
