In celebration of National Volunteer Week (April 16-22) Yaletown House continues to welcome the return of our dedicated volunteers. After a challenging couple of years, we are reconnecting with old friends as well as saying hello to new faces – all who want to support seniors in their community. Our weekly volunteers help out in wide variety of programs including playing crib, flower arranging, walking companions, art assistants, pet therapy, one to one visitors – and more. Recently, the musical ensemble VanStrings, who have been performing for 10 years, returned to the delight of our residents (photo). Collectively, everyone who volunteers makes Yaletown House a better place! Thank you.
