At Yaletown House, Christmas goes well beyond one special day. The month long festivities were made possible thanks to some wonderful people:
To Roger McKie of Dressew Supplies who continued his 22 year tradition of providing all 127 residents with a personalized gift to open on Christmas morning.
To the many families and friends who visited our home in December.
To the staff who helped share the joy of the festivities with everyone.
To the creative and hardworking Recreation Team who plan for months to make this holiday season even brighter: Cori, Tammy, Marlene, Fareh, Lyndia, Valerie, Janelle, Pam, Emily, Coral and Mayumi.
To Lorraine and Arnie for making the journey to Vancouver to be Santa and Mrs. Claus.
To our volunteers, the regulars who are always there to lend a hand whether it’s for Family and Friends Night or a tree decorating event and our newcomers and seasonal volunteers who helped us get the facility and presents wrapped and ready to go.
To our visiting performers: singers Elsie Roy Elementary School, Rudy Carollers, and of course the amazing Dal Richards and his piano player Diane – who delighted everyone in attendance at our Family and Friends Night on December 17.
