Christmas at Yaletown House

At Yaletown House, Christmas goes well beyond one special day. The month long festivities were made possible thanks to some wonderful people:

  • To Roger McKie of Dressew Supplies who continued his 22 year tradition of providing all 127 residents with a personalized gift to open on Christmas morning.
  • To the many families and friends who visited our home in December.

  • To the staff who helped share the joy of the festivities with everyone.
  • To the creative and hardworking Recreation Team who plan for months to make this holiday season even brighter: Cori, Tammy, Marlene, Fareh, Lyndia, Valerie, Janelle, Pam, Emily, Coral and Mayumi.
  • To Lorraine and Arnie for making the journey to Vancouver to be Santa and Mrs. Claus.
  • To our volunteers, the regulars who are always there to lend a hand whether it’s for Family and Friends Night or a tree decorating event and our newcomers and seasonal volunteers who helped us get the facility and presents wrapped and ready to go.
  • To our visiting performers: singers Elsie Roy Elementary School, Rudy Carollers, and of course the amazing Dal Richards and his piano player Diane – who delighted everyone in attendance at our Family and Friends Night on December 17.
  • HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE
