Christmas 2014: The Snowball

Many thanks to everyone who made Christmas 2014 another wonderful Holiday Season full of friendship and love at Yaletown House.

Extra special thanks to:

  • Roger McKie of Dressew Supplies for being Santa
  • Recreation Team who plan for months to make the holiday brighter each year
  • Volunteers who always share joy and goodwill
  • Residents and Families who make us smile every day
  • Hardworking Staff who worked during the Season to make each day Christmas
  • And Arnie and Lorraine who travelled from the North Pole to help distribute Santa’s 127 gifts

With the theme 2014 “The Snowball’, Recreation Therapist Marlene Gauntley crafted another fine poem, which formed this year’s Christmas Card Greeting

Everything is almost done

Now it is time for laughter and yuletide fun

Put on your mittens, get out in the snow

Shape a round snowball and then let it go

For it’s Christmas, enjoy all its delights

Like snowballs that fly on dark winter’s nights.

May the joy of the season

Both outside and in

Make your heart merry
